If Money, Investing, Finance and the Economy strike your interest, then the UIA is for you. We collaborate at regular discussions and events, which include guest speaker presentations, to learn more about different companies. In the recent past, we have gained significant momentum and have been targeted by several firms in the Financial Services Sector. We focus on a wide rage of investment instruments and products including Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities, and many other investment vehicles. Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, Investment Houses, Private Equity shops and Trading firms form the core of our focus. We strive to be a holistic finance organization with significant attention to the markets.

The UIA has undergone some major facelifts and is going through a massive growth phase. We endeavor to be the Organization of choice for all interested students. This semester, we will help our members better understand various investments, such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, options, futures etc. We encourage our members to have a view on the markets at all times, and provide good insights on how to do so. We also have discussions on ‘Mergers and Acquisitions 101’, ‘Inflation and the Economy’, ‘Credit Markets Overview’, ‘Hedge Funds 101’ and a lot more! In addition we have top notch corporate speakers lined up to discuss their careers and experiences in the Financial Services Industry. The UIA provides members with the opportunity to practice investing in our esteemed UIA Stock Market Challenge, which has large cash prizes at the end of the semester. We are also hosting our first ever ‘Investment Conference’ along with many other social events.

Needless to say, we ensure great food and drinks at all of our meetings.
