The University Investors Association is proud to present its 2nd Annual Golf Tournament, Investors Open 2008. On behalf of the UIA and Russell Investments, we would like to extend an invitation to you for this event. We are extremely excited to bring this unique opportunity to you, and look forward to your attendance!
The tournament will be held on November 7th, 2008, at the ‘Onion Creek Golf Course’ in Austin, TX.
Registration fees are $60 per team or $15 per individual. This includes 18 holes of golf and a delicious BBQ lunch.
Tournament Details:
- Participants will play on teams of 4 in a shamble format.
- Team members will tee off and the best ball of the four shots will be selected. Players will move their balls to the spot of the best shot. From this point, the hole will be played out with all members of the team playing their own ball.
- Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishing teams.
Tournament Agenda:
- 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM: Registration and Warm-Ups
- 8:30 AM - 8:45 AM: Announcements and Rules, Breakfast
- 8:45 AM - 9:00 AM: Teams Head to Starting Holes
- 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Tee-Off - 4 Person Teams, Shamble Format
- 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM: BBQ Lunch Buffet
- 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM: Prizes and Closing Ceremony
The event will serve as an ideal platform for participants to network with professionals from Russell, and learn about the various recruiting opportunities they have to offer.
Registration Procedure:
1) Please fill out and submit the form below (Choose Individual or Team).
2) Please pay the Registration Fee ($15/person, $60/team) via our PayPal link.
3) Please make sure that your resume is in the .doc or the .pdf format only.
Resume submission is absolutely necessary to participate in the tournament. Please submit your Resumes (to be included in a book) upon registration. To resend your resume or for any other questions, contact uiaopen@gmail.com.
